Tom, what I have found with mania stocks is that you have to short them at bit at the time. If you wait till the crooks tell you it is ok you are too late. :-) I shorted XOM last Wednesday when it made a new high and more on Thursday. Shorted GLW on a new high. Shorted AMD on a new high. Shorted INTC and SUNW and EMC on new highs recently. Not trying to be smartalec about that but that how I do it. I do protect myself very well. Have I ever been burned...yes....part of the game. My worse short ever was a small cap that got bought out the next day. :-(( I swore from there fwd that if they stopped me out again it would not be because of a buy out. I did make several intraday trades on it today and did well. Hey I may get stopped out and be long the stock in the morning. Just depends. Monty
