Recommend you check out Rational Corp's website: rational.com You will find a lot of info on the company and its market niche. There is a link on their homepage for a very informative video of Tom Bogan's (Rational's President) recent interview on CNBC. The video addresses some of your questions. They are software developers with a growing (!!!) market. Their stock price is up almost 150% year-to-date. Compare those results with the other techs. Editorial note: I'm biased because this stock has done GREAT things for my portfolio over the last 18 months or so. Especially in light of recent market conditions.
