Hi Scott: Super that you've tested with paper trades and done well, especially if you see the great returns that can be made with options.

No, I do not use moving averages as buy indicators for calls. Years ago I use to square root the market like Jim Willie but don't do that much anymore. I follow the stock movement for awhile, watch the effect on the options, learn how the underlying reacts to the market and buy on dips/pullbacks. Nothing fancy. I don't try for a home run as you know, and can still get some fine returns.

Good luck. Remember, protect capital, and with options, if it turns against you, get out. Don't ride them into the dirt thinking they will come back.
