Good point. I also see the major impediment to progress in wireless PDA's to be the data transfer rate, a poky slow 9600 kbps, good for text and simple graphics but not much else. Higher speed G3 wireless (or G2 or G2.5 or whatever) won't arrive in the US until late next year as far as I can tell.

As long as Palm has its nextgen CPU/OS out early next year, I don't see them as being "behind". They're working on a lot of stuff on all fronts of their business, and they seem to be holding their own.
