Fundamentally, I visited AMES Natick store last week and am pleased with general conditions. Number of cars are less but only in the area employees parked. Technically, moving average and trend line studies had to be overshadowed by overbought conditions. Herzog(Merrill Lynch) has not bought back yet. Their average cost of shorts are way above offers today(making money). So, unless there are local oversold condition a short squeeze is not likely. AMES is now a two year stock. It will take two years to correct the technical imbalance. Only daytraders and strong hands will not be taken out.
