People strung out and hurting others need to be addressed for sure. The picture of a person not strung out or addicted, choosing between a child and whether that child will be a nuisance, is rather chilling to me also. A case can be made for abortions of different kinds, but because a person doesn't want to be bothered? Seems shallow to me, and that's most abortions. Now if, as some say, this isn't an issue because the baby hasn't drawn a breath yet, then it's no big deal. Do what you want. I just have a hard time with that being a compassionate stance, as lefties want to otherwise claim to be. But, I won't be facing an abortion decision except possibly with my three daughters (should I be granted the privilege of knowing about a pregnancy. I am responsible for all their expenses, accidents, etc., but am not in the loop on this! Perfectly reasonable concession to womens' movement).
