Holding MSFT now is easy. The stock is climing and setting
new highs. All news rosy! NT looks promising. No dark
clouds visible.

I sold my house and put everything into MSFT in the late
1980's. I'm sure glad that I did. Looking back, I've been
discouraged a few times. The AAPL copyright lawsuit
was a big bummer. Just as it began to clear up, unfair
business practice questions popped up. The slide after
Win95 release last summer wasn't fun either. Holding on
is easier said than done, especially when discouraging
news keeps popping up.

My broker asked me how far I expected MSFT to rise when
I bought at 80. He laughed when I said $500. If MSFT did
not split, it would be $1100 now. He's not laughing now.

A long winded way of saying MSFT is a keeper, but the ride
will not be downhill all the way and without some potholes.

Best of luck FD.
