ZO, I'm not sure why you persist in stating these are my opinions or CSCO's when I've already told you i have the report and am stating facts from the Del Oro report.... per unit ASP's for ALA DSLAM's have gone from $8051 per unit to $3731 per unit according to Del Oro... Now you know - I know - everyone knows that there is some funny business going on here since DSLAM's are far more expensive than this. For example CMTN's DSLAMs were 19,240/unit last year... and have actually increased in value - to $29,200 this year. And CSCO prices have been steady around $15,000. So, you tell me.... what funny buinsess is being played and by whom? ALA is so far under the market price one can only assume - from the data - that they're giving the stuff away.. BTW: Same on the CPE where ALA prices have gone from $236/unit to $197/unit. I'm just stating the facts as they are written - not opinions. However I will give you an opinion... VDSL is going no where.
