Long gone, some interesting analysis on the euro's weakness from Dr. Richebacher dailyreckoning.com In his oct. letter Dr. R also notes that " the biggest single item among recorded U.S. capital inflows is ,in fact, borrowing by corporations and federally sponsored agency ( GSE) bonds. And their borrowing effectively implies the conversion of euros into dollars. together they amounted to $255 billion in 1999 and $71.7 billion for 1Q2000" .
