I am not sure whether you should say that 3Com reported bad earnings.
Everybody knew that they would take charges for aquisitions. By being
a penny shy this looks like that the analysts made an incorrect est.
of the charges. Their revenue growth was pretty good, which bodes
well for the future. If 3Com reaches $40 in this frenzy, it may
become a good buying opportunity. I am not sure whether I agree with
you on your comment that COMS is a direct competitor. COMS does
compete with ASND in a select few products, not all.

Looks like the NASDAQ comp will test the low 1160 again, which
would mean at least a 5-10% decline in ASND from now onwards from
where the stock has to recover. All depends on how many buyers are
out there at the 1160 level. Breaking the 1155 level will be
dangerous.

I felt that there was some manipulation of ASND's stock price in the
recent past, which has been discussed in this forum. Accordingly, I
notified investor relations. I received a call from Bill Morat (?)
yesterday. Bill is a business analyst with ASND who asked me about
my views. Bill also told me that he regularly monitors messages in
this forum. Wonder why he does that, he should know how ASND is
doing anyway. If any of you have any opinions on price manipulation,
go ahead and send an email to investor relations.
