Hi TechBuyer: I used this data on some of my presentations. The interesting thing that we need to observe is the following.

In terms of Worldwide Semiconductor Sales Intel grew by $5.4 Billion from 1995 to 1996 ( 1995 Sales $13.06B; 1996 Sales $18.4B; Delta $5.4B)

Where as People in the lower end of the list like SGS Thomson total sales for 1996 is $4.1B;

Therefore Intel is growing every year equivalent to SGS Thompson.

Intel will be spending $3B in capital equipment alone equivalent entire revenue of Siemens semiconductor division.

This is a phenomenal growth for Intel. This is what I call " I will eat you for lunch" Still the stock is trading with a PE of 12- 14.

Regards

Kumar
