I do believe that hate crimes are a nice corollary to allowing hate speech. I think it sends the right message, the message that I hope our country is all about- you can THINK anything you want, you can SAY almost anything you want, but you can't DO anything you want. Don't laws against murder, assault and battery, vandalism, and so forth send the message that "you can't DO anything you want"? Tim
