Teresa,

For my gap trading I really don't pay a lot of attention to what the stock did the previous day. I do often look at the daily chart but sometimes that isn't real important. I usually just try and listen to what the stock is telling me today. Usually these stocks will have some sort of news propelling them but not always. For daytrading purposes I am only concerned with the current days action.
