dave, I think Palms partnership with Sony will keep them in the market for video applications via Palm. Sony is the King of the hill in video apps and with Sony's interest in clee Palm will have what it needs. Right now the Sony clee delivers video on the Palms os but the source is not IP it comes from a 8mb memory stick inserted into an expansion slot. I understand the video quality is not flawless yet. current state of the art delivers a noticable jerky picture quality. The new intel processor might correct this. With only 8mb you can't store much run time of video. I imagine Sony next generation clee would have the 32mb memory stick. The more I thing about Sony's memory stick applications the more i think it would be wise for Palm to ask Sony for some kind of an exclusive use of the stick as a way to differentiate Palm offerings from other competitors.
