Probably the best hedge in the case of an ira cash account is the Prudent Bear fund>http://www.prudentbear.com/ I don't know about the metal stocks as a hedge just yet, other than some of our long shot rat picks. The metals are just not acting correctly to go long, Imo. That could change, and if it does, it will mean a currancy collapse of some sort, probably with the Euro or the Yen. Maybe, no way to know at this time. And since I already made the easy money by being short the Euro, I will wait. For a trigger to trip.
