I'm just fascinated by this use of the Internet to get personal views on stocks that I own and/or am interested in. I have invested very conservatively over the last few years but lately have taken more risks into the gold field (dang Bre-x not mine but affecting others). I have been interested in Bell Sports since it was recommended in the Dick Davis Digest by an analyst(?) a few months back. It is way down and this intrigues me as a contrarian. But I am very low risk tolerant in most cases about investing in stocks. I swing like a pendulum and have watched a few go up when I thought it was a good time to buy but was too chicken. Anyways, I like Bell because it is down and I enjoy biking and see all sorts of equipment made by them or affilia a good book that would help me figure out the analysis such as given on this thread that you could suggest? I always am leary of doing all the analysis and then the company does something (lower earnings) and gets pummelled. I've noticed that Bell has gone up about 10% ( I believe)since the last post.
I notice from your info that you are teaching overseas. My wife had been teaching in the Netherlands for the Canadian government a couple of years back and it was fascinating being in another country (even more so since we had a freak snowstorm yesterday!!!!)
By the way what is a Sqwuak Box?
Thanks for your insights and I would be most grateful for other information you might have on this stock.
