The gun control issue is useful to the democratic party in due to women voters, but I don't think anything will come of it, or that Gore really considers important. It is really a state issue, what is right for New Jersey isn't necessarily right for Wyoming. Personally, I really like guns. The are fun to shoot. Handguns, rifles, shotguns, I enjoy them all. Also, I am glad that my elderly parents have a big whopper of a .45 in the house, there is no other way for them to defend themselves.
