Gary: I hope I didn't misrepresent the facts, about 1/3 of the road is black top and all but about 20 km is good high grade gravel roads. SOLV's road is new and IMO is poorly built compared to Goverment Roads. The last time I saw the road it had no gravel on it but this could have changed. My comments about the Gumbo refered mainly to the new plant site and any road without gravel. This road (where the hauling is to happen) also serves Shell, the new Syncrude Mine, Mobil, Suncor and a small town. The road is a single lane each way. Jim Atkinson
