Nothing more.> You must have much better hearing than me. Such cries grow peculiarly loud when Intel takes the lead in clock speed. But when AMD releases faster processors, these same cries reduce down to a whisper. Check the ZDNet Talkback forums for examples of this phenomenon. By the way, I'd sure like to see where in Anand's article he even remotely hints, "Stop beating our beloved Intel." Maybe you need to open my eyes a little more. <From the news articles, it seems that P4 would have about the same power consumption at 1.2 GHz as Tbird, but Intel is going to release them at higher clock speeds with higher power consumption.> I think you might be slightly mistaken about the power consumption, but yes, it is indeed an issue with Pentium 4. And I'm sure that Anand will once again raise the issue once he reviews the Pentium 4. Tenchusatsu
