No guilt, and disagreement is healthy.
Incidently, I was reseaching digital printing on infoseek, (unfortunately I don't recall the companies name, my mistake) but one company had a press release referring to digital REUSABLE PLATES. I have no idea whether these will affect prst market, but I wouldn't be surprised if the way of the future.
I still have not heard an answer from any of the bulls as to there calulations of a 10% price decrease, and what impact it would have on margins and price.
George, I have researched the market both digital and printing,(in fact, I helped a printer who was in trouble, and almost bought one.) I have reviewed the thread for six months, read many glowing assumptions put forth, and am unconvinced. Patents are only worth what a company is willing to pay to defend them. The agfa ruling, notably did not address agfa producing plates, only who paid fees (no damages).
This is story stock, and like all good books, competition will be its final chapter, and it will come to end, under 20.
Good luck, |
