Today's NAZ volume is higher than that on the day of the May low and higher than that last Thursday. A few more new highs today vs last May's low and last Thursday. Up volume is greater than last May's low and last Thursday. Advancing issues are higher today than last Thursday, but lower than last May's low.

So which is the appropriate benchmark for comparison - last thursday or last May's low ?
