Elmer Re..<<<hmaly the P4 isn't even out yet and already you're trying to make excuses for AMD's continued blunders trying to get their disaster of a bus to work in SMP. <<<< Elmer have said the following many times. <<Intel has never produced a P6 generation chipset die that wouldn't work in SMP and AMD has never been able to make one that will.,,, This is wrong on both counts as the Celeries lately weren't SMP; and AMD just demoed a SMP 760 chipset last wk. I was not making excuses; I was just pointing out that the P4 when it comes out will not be SMP capable. You have blamed AMD's bus for AMD's problems with SMP; therefore it might be possible P4's new bus is the reason P4 will not be SMP. Where in my statement did I make any excuse for AMD.
