Another potential revenue increasing decision is still pending: Whether or not to initiate direct marketing to the consumers.

There's about 3 years of patients who've been told there's no treatment available, yet still have some vision that's worth preserving. If they're somehow still unaware of Visudyne, there's huge upside by attracting even a small percentage of them into retinal specialists' offices.

Others may not be aware they have the symptoms of AMD; and just don't go to their doctor on a timely basis. A direct marketing program; or consumer awareness program, would be a lifesaver for these people.
