Was that a trade that turned into an investment? <g>

I always heard (pre-bubble, mind you) that one should never buy a stock unless they plan on holding it for 5 years. Probably pretty good to at least mull that advice over before taking a big plunge.

I firmly believe the secret to making money in stocks over the long run is buying a little too late, and selling a little too early. Practicing that philosophy keeps you out of the market half the time, but it also lowers your risk by an incredible amount.
