to clarify what I wrote this morning:

"Everyone needs to remember that if you exercise an option you have to invest some money from your personal accounts because you are buying the stock, albeit at a discount."

should have written "exercise an option and retain the stock". If you exercise and sell immediately, you don't have to come up with the cash, which was a main point of what I was saying. (The whole point of options is to capitalize on gains without having to come up with all the cash to buy the stock).

OE trading down here I believe only because of Australian dollar woes and margin pressures as some people lost a great deal of equity last week. Unfortunately, a decreasing US price doesn't inspire confidence down under.
