Oops, I misread the post linked to here. I think this is in response to Dennis O'Bell # 8889 instead. I'll still leave my text here.

On the weekend, the Europe Online P/R was posted and discussed here - the one that said Internet via satellite just did not work.

I posted here that KVH had tested it, worked fine and was moving forward.

I also posted the Europe Online P/R on the Yahoo! KVHI thread. Tonight, a poster there responded to it. Because he mentioned a lack of SI access, I think he would like to see it posted here.

So, here is the Yahoo! post. If there is any discussion in which this gentleman responds further, I will volunteer to make sure subsequent posts get posted here as well.

Obviously, the topic of whether the satellite technology works for broadband Internet is pertinent here, and I hope someone cares to discuss this further.
