Even Tucker Carlson the conservative on CNn agrees tonight's debate should energize the Gore campaign and heolp him pull ahead in coming days. You saw the real Al Gore tonight. Forceful, compassionate, depthy, great expertise, extremely knowledgeable, honest and courageous. You saw the real Bush tonight too. Shaky, but good at posturing and giving zippy slogans, short on specifics, attacking Washington but poor record in Texas, no answers for the most important questions, little compassion or grasp of the real issues. Not a strong leader. makes Texas votrs look foolish for giving him such support. especially when you check his record there.
