You know, I like this little thread we have here. I've read lots of SI threads these past months, and it seems there's an awful lot of yapping about the latest stock price blip on most of them. My impression is that SI threads, like much of the investment world, are saturated with traders, short-sellers, and people who don't seem to know what they bought or why.

I'm no expert, but it seems to me the big money in stocks is made over several years. Frankly, it's pretty easy to get 10-baggers and more over 5-year periods. The hard part is being patient while other stocks are going up all around you, tempting you to dump your bargain and ride the current "darling", only to find out it's near the top. Meanwhile, your bargain stock goes up, making it less attractive, so you want to jump out of the old "darling" and into the new "darling"...yadda yadda yadda.
