Same story here.

Here's a plan .... get one of the last mile fiber companies to give you an experimental line, just to your house, on the grounds that the famous Mr. McKie is a leader of Piffers and others will follow (I think I heard that last part on a commercial someplace). Anyway, then you get free service now and your neighbors can wait the two or three or five years.
