UPDATE ON SITE SLOWNESS: Continued investigation into site slowness over the past few days has now cleared the new server as the cause. Focus is now on network problems with the web hosting firm, which is also an ISP. Our site, and other sites hosted by the same firm are all slow in them morning during peak ISP client usage times on the West Coast, hence the slowdown between 8AM and 9:30AM Pacific.
