You would think, at least, the mining companies would care a little bit! It is very easy for them to sit back and pull the yellow stuff from the ground in greater volumes each day buy never really market it as an investment! Most americans have no way to invest in gold! Forgive me, but I believe if gold were just given an even break & the american public were allowed to invest in gold the price would be better! Should we also mention this is very near FRAUD when no one is even told the truth or allowed the chance to invest the bulk of their money in gold?
