Thank you for your note and for your thoughtful participation on this board. However, I see no data to support that conclusion regarding his response. If that's his view, he better clarify it pronto. I can't convince myself as easily as you that a guy who is willing to see 140 plus people put to death, including a large group who were clearly very poorly defended, will be a stickler for the civil liberties of poor performing students, especially those who come from the same underclass that he seems so ready to fry.
