The idea of stockpiling is ludicrous...

Virtually all the component customers are on allocation....new orders do not get adjusted for six months, and new customers are basically turned away. The only way stockpiling at a customer can occur is if the company involved is not expecting to make their sales figures...so to me that would be a veiled warning...but it is more likely just their managements hope that their investors are ignorant and do not understand the state of fiber optic component supply (and will pat mgmt on the back for "good job"). Typical case of sounds good, but doesn't work...

Either way, it is bad for them, not JDSU/SDLI...
