It's also an understandable question in light of the impression (given by some TRKR boosters) that SONY was "working" with TRKR to "greatly improve" TRKR's technology. If SONY really was "working" with TRKR than I can see why you and Tom have hopes for TRKR. Maybe you're right. But I have doubts. I think TRKR was early to have the idea of applying bar-code tracking to household things, but it hasn't been able to exploit it. And even though TRKR got a patent for its system of using bar-codes on personal property, it's system doesn't (IMHO) amount to much -- and has nothing to do with business. So for business what does TRKR have that businesses don't already have without TRKR? Nothing I can see. I'm also very doubtful that TRKR was working with SONY, although maybe it gave SONY a few labels. The idea of applying bar-code tracking to products, product parts and railroad cars has been done for years without TRKR's help. - Charles
