If there is "so great an excess" in worldwide supply, I wonder why he is coming to you & not a mine or Central Bank? Is he short(in a massive way), I wonder or trying for a "good deal" or trying for an off market transaction? Launder Money?

btw, here's a reply I got back -but in this B.S.market, one needs to ask which way the wind was blowing at any given moment & work hard to catch any truth as it flys out of all the spin


Just last weekend I had a conversation with a very knowledgeable gold dealer who shared that many Russian mafia types are purchasing gold bullion with forged cashiers checks and are in the wind before the
banks can determine the forgery. Was told it's very wide spread.
Just a thought!
