(Off topic) I've been to Russia

A total of three times. Absolutely found nothing of value in a command and administer type economy labelled in the West as "socialism". However that isn't what we have here. To make any analogy between the Soviet system and the US balance of powers system is ludicrous.

As to certain intellectuals making decisions for the rest of us, that also doesn't happen here. Just the opposite, extremely dumb obtuse ill-educated uninformed and corrupt yahoos make most of the decisions for us.

Is there something wrong with having someone intelligent in the White House? Do you seriously object to that! And let's even concede that Al Gore has some problems with thinking that he knows more than he does. Well guess what, all Presidents find out what their limitations are. Some surround themselves as Reagan did with advisors they listen to and some make all the decisions themselves like Carter and totally screw up. Gore will only win by the narrowest of margins and he will have to listen.

And by the way, what the Feds do affects Novell. If those federal judges throw the Microsoft case to the monopolies, don't come crying here, LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE DO, about your investment in Novell.
