Bottom line of that argument: Bush has a record to look at. Obviously, Texas voters, who are largely yellow dog democrats overwhelmingly supported him at the polls. Texans approve of Bush. In Tennessee the race is too close to call. Not exactly a confidence builder.

Now, name me one thing Gore has done in the past 8 years that we can examine. Besides his fuel consumption records from Air Force 2.
