JC,

>>> The beauty of Rhapsody is that the programming

So was Windows NT, but developers didn't seem to care. They
only are building WIN32 applications for X86. In addition, the
byte-sex problem of X86 vs PowerPC makes an X86 port of a
Rhapsody application more then just a simple recompile.

The last Apple WWDC I attend was about 4 years ago. Apple was
pushing the idea that the MacOS offered a portable API
for developers. The slogan was "Write-once, reap many".
The Star Trek project at Apple even promised the MacOS
running on top of DOS. The portability argument turned out
to be all smoke. I expect the same fate for a portable Rhapsody.
Thw WIN32 API owns the X86 space.

>>> doesn't compete with it's developers

What about Claris?
