- "Jenna," founder of "Market Gems," and a Pristine.com employee

As this thread so prominently advertises the services of Pristine.com in its introduction, in over a dozen links, and contains the statement, MARKET GEMS and PRISTINE.COM have merged., I believe it is relevant, and fully compliant with SI Terms of Use, to extend to its well-known founder, "Jenna," the opportunity to provide all of Silicon Investor with answers to a few simple questions which the dramatic headline story in Sunday's New York Times Money&Business section raise. I was the primary and original source for that story. To preface these questions, I would add that my correspondence and meeting with the journalist who wrote it dates back to July 7, 2000. My publication of the allegations raised in that article dates back to June 27, 2000. I filed an official complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission July 5, 2000, and met with a Congressional official of the Committee on Governmental Affairs in the Russell Senate Office Building July 13, 2000.

1. Jenna, could you please explain why a trading and investment site purportedly only charging its members fees for trading and investment assistance should share the same offices with a broker-dealer, The Executioner, in White Plains, New York?

2. Are you aware that it is illegal for anyone save a licensed broker-dealer to execute order flow agreements?

3. Are you aware that non-disclosure of order flow agreements is illegal?

4. Has Pristine.com now, or at any time, received any payments, compensation or special privileges whatsoever from the broker-dealer Executioner for trades placed by its members, whether in direct compensation, or indirectly, through significant advertising contracts which would be far higher than the standard set by sites such as Yahoo! and others?

5. Have you churned traders by encouraging scalping and other high-volume trading both through this thread at Silicon Investor and your corporate site at Pristine.com, in a manner such as that published in Sunday's Times, similar to what I revealed to that newspaper concerning illegal order flow kickbacks between Cyber-corporation, a subsidiary of Charles E. Schwab, Inc., and Trading-Places.net?

6. Have "those who have worked for years," as you described them here, been assiduously toiling away, defrauding traders to the tune of many hundreds of millions of dollars over the course of several years through ingenious schemes to manipulate traders on a massive scale?

7. Would you lease explain for all of us in specific detail why and for what reason a broker-dealer firm such as The Executioner would offer commission discounts to those who pay fees of $3,500 and more for Pristine "training and education camps/seminars" as in a promotion listed below?

pristine.com

8. Are the market "gems" which you provide clients any different than a piece of quartz proferred by a charlatan?

9. Are in fact Pristine.com and The Executioner acting as a single broker-dealer firm giving investment advice to their clients, contrary to any disclaimers listed at the Pristine site?

I realize I have raised quite a few questions, and I would be happy if you would answer them in detail for us after the official market day has concluded, as I am aware that your work requires great dedication and focus.

In advance, I would like to extend my most grateful appreciation for your response.

Yours Sincerely,

Olivier L. F. Asser
