the emphasis must be on that little word IF....imo in order to see fund redemptions, the dip buying habit needs to be punished severely...most people are staying put, and hoping that this is just another garden variety correction. they have learned that lesson over recent years, and the propaganda and hype are all still aimed at keeping them right where they are...namely in the market.
