I guess that the lack of excitement around the recent announcement of a beta trial is that the market opportunity presented by cellular operators in small (in a subscriber sense), rural RSA's is not very large and is a very fragmented market to sell to. Sure they might sell a few to these penny pinching operators who are too cheap to provide real coverage to their customers via new cell sites, but to get the investment community's blood really pumping about superconductors, they need to find a large market for these filter/lna packages. Such a market would be the PCS buildout in urban areas. Doing a beta trial with a major PCS operator in a major MTA would be a lot different than doing a trial with Ma & Paw CarPhones in Hooterville, USA. By the way, notice that the operator did not pay for the units either.
