Barbara: I put the last of the mutual fund money in today having been 80% cash since Feb and 20% bonds. I started my move last Monday and averaged in. This market has been a thing of beauty, with the precision that it has decimated portfolios. But at this point no one has any other choice but to stay the course. If you have not been hit with margin calls and been forced to sell consider yourself fortunate. In the words of the wisest investor I know, my 81 year old mother, her recent advice is, "it's not a loss until you sell ". My father recently passed away and starting about 10 years ago my mother took over all investment decisions in the household. I have not been adding to my position for the simple reason I keep reminding mtself its not how many shares you own but how efficiently one sells the shares they own.
Don is a lawyer, imho the best thing that could happen to the stock price would be for him to file an injunction against the bashers on the rb board. It is probably 'we know who' doing 90% of it so lets go after that scum bag.
At the very least, I say lets get a court injunction just to find out if this one individual is responsible with multiple aliases, and we know he is. Lets send him behind bars for a few years and he might come out singing a different tune....gregor
