I just watched Inside Politics facts check and there was no mention of Gore exaggering about the $10,000 tuition deduction. Maybe there's some fine print or you have to be at a certain income bracket to get it. But that is his policy and after all the flak he's taken I know he would not set himself up by telling a fib that big. It would be political suicide. Both candidates know the fact-checkers start work immediately after the debate. They can exaggerate a little but that's all they can get away with. It would be a big story if Gore's tuition help was only $800. And I see no such story.
