The only reference I remember regarding Intel was Eli's review of the flash market. He reiterated that there are only four companies with serious capability in the high-density flash memory market.

He seemed very excited about the kiosks that will be placed in stores where digital cameras are sold. He dropped the figure that, by 2003, there will be some 20-billion (that's with a B) digital photos taken annually. He believes that there is a large market for people who want good quality prints of their photos, but who may not have printers or want to have to use a PC.

Also, Nokia, Ericson and Siemens are already used MM cards in smart phones in Europe. Revenue is already coming in from those companies.

Another interesting point that he didn't develop was that he sees another major revenue stream possible from companies building the new infrastructure for the next generation of portable phones. I'm not sure what he was getting at, but he made it sound as though that could be another important revenue area.
