So, if GartnerGroup is right about the market -- over 100 participants today and a size of $14 billion by 2002, then how much of the $14 billion would you guess VIAD will get?

Also, "... Viador in among the strongest overall positions in its Visionary category -- surpassing over 20 other portal vendors..." biz.yahoo.com

So, if there are over 100 vendors in this market and VIAD surpassed over 20 of them doesn't that rank VIAD about 80th?

In the conference call it was stated that the GartnerGroup market analysis included many companies in the "enterprise portal space" that don't fall into the same business as VIAD thinks it does. VIAD continues to state that there are just a few players that are offering what VIAD is offering.

It would have been helpful to include a comparison of VIAD's ranking to those companies that VIAD considers to be its direct competitors.

VIAD put out a news release about a market analysis that includes more than 100 players and the only good thing they said is VIAD was included among those other companies (how many?) that were ranked in the "visionary category."

They might as well have said, we are not going to tell you exactly where we ranked in this category, but we did rank higher than 20 other company that may or may not be our direct competitors as we define our "space." The important thing to note is that some company included us in a market analysis. WoW! Surely, this news alone should stop the stock price from falling.

It would be great if VIAD would issue another press release that states the rankings more clearly.
