Jim, <Anyway. INTEL is saying the 1.4 Ghz Pentium-4 is 20% faster than a 1 Ghz Pentium III. That's using "their" benchmark suite which I would think is a little favorable at the very least.> We will no doubt see how well Pentium 4 stands up to the onslaught of Herr Doctor Uberclockermeister. Chances are that he'll roast it because of two reasons: 1) Rambus ('nuff said) 2) Price/performance. After all, Intel isn't giving it away for free like AMD seems to be doing with Athlon these days.
