For the stock or the Nas?
For AMAT, the sell-off at the close, while the rest of the market was flat, was not a good sign. Lots of stocks actually managed to end the day up, but not AMAT, indicating that when buyers stepped back into the market, AMAT was not on their buy lists.
For the market, this is the second day this month that seemed like CapitulationDay, and I had no idea if there will be a third, fourth, etc. I would not mind if the market went up a bit, even if it's only a bear market rally, as I would like to do some tax-loss selling. Unfortunately, several million other people are doing the same thing. |
