Who else can Barrett blame for Intel's screw ups other than Rambus? You don't think that Barrett is going to take the blame, do you? You don't think Barrett is going to take the blame for Intel's massive drop in stock price? Of course not. It's easier for Barrett to try to shift the blame to Rambus. Perhaps Barrett has been trying to renegotiate their contract with Rambus and Rambus is telling him to pound salt? Intel never accepted any responsibility for any screw ups. Never told us where the problems were. Rambus on the other hand said there is nothing wrong with our technology, but they never came right out and said Intel screwed up. Barrett's pissed and he's trying to use this approach as a last ditch effort hoping to renegotiate their contract. Intel will also end up paying royalties to Rambus. JMHO
