Back to Novell

What do you think about the move that one of Novell's caching appliance partners has just made into the small business DSL connected small server market with a $600 caching server add-on?

To me this move is the direction of the future. Specialized servers for say my soccer club to offer free email on to its members administered from my DSL connected server and using caching to over come some of the bandwidth limitations. We used to have discussions here about community and now it is really possible to get your own DSL connection and set up a virtual community like Scott originally touted for digitalme.

I wonder if Mr. Stevenson over at myrealbox.com has looked into this? Or whether the Just-on people have though about it at all?

If this isn't an area of interest to you perhaps you can tell us something about how you see Novell's direction at present and something about the opportunities you are currently pursuing.
