Well after 3 1/2 years of living westHELL, today takes the cake. This is worse than Seamans 3 Contract Promise. WSTL has spent the last 2 years trying to gain back the respect of Wall Street...KISS WS GOODBYE! I think what happened was PR Newswire mixed up WSTL's earnings release with EFNT's. Has to be. There is no way WSTL could have screwed their shareholders and street like that...NO WAY! I must have read that PR five times and I am still in disbelief. I could not believe that was WSTL's earnings (lack of) release. They missed on every count, earnings, revenues, margins and future guidance! As for Future guidance...I thought WSTL dealt with the ILEC's (not the CLEC's) and we were about to experience the hockey stick growth. Can't keep up with the orders? Number one in the country for CPE? WSTL's time to shine compared to CMTN and EFNT...NOT! What I really don't understand is why they did not warn? It's not like they missed by a penny or two. Just don't get it? They sure had no problem telling CNBC that Verizon Strike did not effect them. That had no problem telling the analysts on the road show everything was A OK! Maybe this qtr would be a little off but this is ridiculous. I am in disbelief, ashamed of myself for believing in WSTL mgmt (again), disgusted and DONE living in westHELL!!! Can't wait to hear what they have to say for themselves tomorrow! The should be ashamed of themselves!
